THEME: “POLICY AS A CATALYST: TRANSFORMING GHANA’S PUBLISHING ECOSYSTEM FOR NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT”
There will be two sessions for this year’s AGM: the first session is open to all invited stakeholder organisations, book industry professionals and media houses. The presentations will center on the theme and of course the various activities and contributions the Ghana Publishers Association has done in 2025.
The 2025 GPA’s activities and contributions include:
- Book donations from member-publishers to NGOs and Schools
- General/industry meetings
- 5th GPA-Afram Interschool Debate Competition, 2025
- Two workshops on Artificial Intelligence for Publishers in Accra and Kumasi on 26th March, 2025 and 10th April 2025 respectively.
- 22nd Ghana International Book Fair
- Tamale Regional Book Fair
- Strong social media presence to educate and inform stakeholders and the general public about the book industry.
- Participated in
- The 3rd African Publishers Conference in Morocco from 23rd to 25th June, 2025
- CopyGhana Stakeholders Engagement on 9th June, 2025
- Department of Publishing Studies (KNUST) 40th Anniversary Dinner and Wards Night
The second session is limited to only GPA Members.
